The men and women of law enforcement across the country, those attached to the Belize Police Department, are celebrating Police Week 2017. Since launching a calendar of events on Sunday morning, officers have been involved in a number of activities, including cleanup campaigns and community outreach. Later this week, outstanding officers will also be recognized for various professional achievements. Earlier today, Commissioner of Police Allen Whylie released a statement to the media in acknowledgment of Police Week.
