Five members of the board of Combined Holdings have all been recently murdered. It send each one received a card before their death. Gilbert Kirby, a friend of the Saint, is the latest board member to be threatened. He\'s due to be made Lord Mayor of London and escapes an assassination attempt whilst in the mayoral procession. Templar realise the would-be killer was on the float submitted by the company and the killer must be a member of the firm.
