0:56 This is The Book of the Vishanti. A textbook of magic. It is the greatest source of white magic knowledge in the universe. It's counterpart (the greatest source of black magic) is called The Darkhold.
1:04 The Cloak of Levitation. It allows Doctor Strange to Levitate, obviously. But it also just looks really badass.
1:15 Mads Mikkelsen looking terrifying as the villain Kaecilius. In the comics he serves Karl Mordo. Here he has his own followers.
1:31 These appear to be the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak. Which, when summoned will encase the victim in red bands. Or in this case... orangish bands.
1:38 Chiwetel Ejiofor plays Karl Mordo. In the comics they train together but become enemies, but in this trailer they appear to best buds.
2:01 In Tibetan Buddhist and Hundu traditions Shamballa is a mythical hidden kingdom somewhere in hollow earth. There is also a Doctor Strange comic called "Into Shamballa".
