On the French Riviera, the Saint rescues Dona Luisa Arroya and her young companion, Consuela from 2 robbers. Dona Luisa and her brother-in-law tell Simon they\'re part of a once-influential family,who now live in exile, from their home of Santa Cruz. They\'ve come to sell her jewelry to raise money for a return to power. So much is made of the jewels that Templar\'s suspicious why they want to involve him in their scheme.
