Roberto Baggio was neither a number ten nor a number nine, capable of almost anything that could be asked of an attacking player. Constantly using the outside of his right foot, elegant and yet direct, Baggio was considered one of the best players in the world between 1992 and 1994. Although not the fastest player, he was a virtuoso when it came to "speed changes" or "gear changes", which allowed him to use his speed to maximum effect.
